Childhood Cancer International is very pleased to announce a new initiative aimed at supporting CCI member organisations in the provision of essential accommodation for children and adolescents with cancer and their families/carers. We hereby announce the:
“Home Away From Home” Programme, Supported by Foundation S.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The purpose of Home Away From Home is to decrease treatment abandonment of children and adolescents with cancer by helping CCI member organisations provide a second home for the patients and their caregivers, close to health services.
If:
You are a CCI member in good standing and have been one for at least one year;
Your accommodation project is for a low or a middle income country;
You have a demonstrated commitment and ability to support children/ adolescents with cancer and their families; and
You have an accommodation project that falls into one of the following categories
The building of a new home
The expansion of an existing home
The renting and running of a home
The improvement (refurbishment) of an existing home
The covering of operating expenses for a set period of time, for an existing home
Then, we invite you to apply to this new request for proposals, by sending your application to admin@cci.care. The full application information is available here. Please note that the application submission deadline is the 5th of January, 2024 [midnight Paris time zone].
