Enlace

Programmes for our Members

Supported and led by Fundación Nuestros Hijos (FNH) of Chile, The CCI Latam region launched an impressive program called Enlace. This innovative programme assists other members organisations in the region to strengthen their organisational capacity and to adopt and adapt successful service programmes that impact the lives of children with cancer and their families.

CCI Latam identified successful service programmes in the region that served as role models and had the potential to be replicated by other organisations in the region.

Enlace consists of 2 stages:

  • 1. A self-assessment to assess compliance with utilizing seven essential organisational elements (legal, administrative, transparency, and programmatic coordination, as well as others). This is to ensure to necessary basis for sustainability and growth.

    2. Peer organisations review the assessment and documentation and give suggestions for improvement.

    3. A year-long process of improvement, where members supported each other, and members are also supported by external professionals.

After this the participating organisations receive a Certificate of Achievement of Standards’, only the organisations who achieved these standards will receive the training to adopt and adapt the successful programmes identified.

  • This stage aims to improve the technical capacity of organisations and its programmes in a specific area. Organisations share the successful models of intervention with organisations who have already met the standards required.

This stage includes structured online courses, on-site technical internships.

14 organizations from 10 Latin American countries have participated in this successful project. CCI expects to expand this impact and export this project to other regions. CCI Asia is currently working in the implementation of ENLACE in their region.
