A Home Away From Home
Important Announcement
Childhood Cancer International is very pleased to announce the launch of the second phase of the Home Away From Home Programme, supported by Foundation S!
For over a year, CCI and Foundation S have been working together to support CCI member organisations in the provision of essential accommodation and associated services for children and adolescents with cancer and their families/ caregivers.
For the first phase, which commenced at the start of 2024, 3 beneficiary organisations improved their capacity to welcome children into their homes. This involved 1 new house purchase, 1 new house build and the support of operational costs and services in another Home. We are now starting the next phase of the programme because together we can save more children’s lives.
