CCI Joins WHO’s Global Study on the Lived Experience of People Affected by Cancer
Share Your Voice to Help Shape Better Support for People Affected by Cancer
Childhood Cancer International is proud to support the World Health Organization’s (WHO) global research study aimed at understanding the lived experiences of people affected by cancer. We invite our entire community—survivors, families, and caregivers—to participate in this important initiative and contribute to improving cancer care worldwide.
Why Is This Study Important?
The WHO is conducting this study to better understand the emotional, social, and financial impact of cancer on individuals and their families. Insights from this research will help governments and healthcare professionals develop more effective support systems and policies for people affected by cancer.
Who Can Participate?
• Anyone aged 18 or older who has or had cancer (as a child or an adult)
• Family members of someone who has or had cancer, including those who have lost a loved one to cancer
What Does Participation Involve?
• Completing an anonymous and voluntary online survey (no personal information will be collected)
• The survey takes about 30 minutes to complete
• Questions will cover quality of life, mental and physical health, access to healthcare, social support, financial impact, and how cancer has affected your life
How to Participate
The survey is available in multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese. Click here to take the survey
