CCI's statement on the conflict in Gaza

Dear Friends,

Following our press release from the 12th October, Childhood Cancer International, as the global patient support organisation for childhood cancer, calls for an end to the conflict in Gaza. It is absolutely necessary that the children, adolescents and young with cancer receive the necessary treatment with a view to their complete recovery, and that their families can go through this already painful process as peacefully as possible, without the suffering of the war. The integrity of hospitals and other health centers must be ensured, so that minimum basic medical care can be guaranteed to this fragile population. Childhood Cancer International is grateful for the work already being done on the ground by several organisations, and stands ready to collaborate in whatever way is necessary to safeguard the well-being of the paediatric oncology community.

Please stay safe.

Thank you,

Rodney Wong,

President, Childhood Cancer International

On behalf of our community
