Announcement of formal partnership between Childhood Cancer International (CCI) and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
CCI, as the world’s largest global organisation representing parent organisations as well as other civil society institutions focusing on childhood cancer; and St. Jude Children´s Research Hospital as a leading institution for childhood cancer research, treatment and care; are excited to announce that we have concluded a formal collaboration agreement.
While CCI and St. Jude have collaborated informally for a long time, the agreement lays the foundation for a structured collaboration, with planned an intentional projects and initiatives outcomes which aim to:
Conduct surveys and research into the care and support of children with cancer and families, for contextual understanding and in order to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
Develop the capacity of programmes and organisations in childhood cancer through various means, including training, and the development of tools and materials.
Advocate for childhood cancer treatment and care.
