13th CCI-Europe Conference
CCI Board on 13th CCI-Europe Conference in Spain.
CCI Europe hosted its 13th CCI Europe Conference on May 10th to 12th, 2023 in Valencia, Spain. This event was once again organized in partnership with SIOP Europe, and as a part of the SIOPE’s 4th Annual Meeting.
Member organizations from CCI Europe and SIOP Europe, CCI international board members, and stakeholders from all around the world attended the conference. The meeting aimed to bring together the diverse stakeholders involved in facing key issues for children and adolescents with cancer, ensuring the representation and participation of childhood cancer parent and survivors.
During the meetings, novel session formats, interactive workshops, and forums were held empowering the working groups to debate and disseminate a diversity of topics related to childhood cancer. The common goals were to increase the cure rates and improve the quality of life of children with cancer, their families, and survivors.
This was a unique opportunity to share the best practices, learn from each other, and collaborate. It provided a forum for discussion and action and helped to strengthen the network of organizations and individuals working for this cause.
