Applications are NOW OPEN for the Home Away From Home Programme Phase 2

We are now launching the call for proposals as part of the second phase of the Home Away From Home Programme, supported by Foundation S.

We know that  together we can save more children’s lives, and proving a Home Away From Home for patients and families during the child’s treatment is essential to saving lives.  That’s why it is our pleasure to inform CCI members that you can now submit your applications for projects dedicated to the provision of accommodation related services.

This year we have two support categories:

  1. Capital Projects - involving the construction of a new home, the purchase of a home, or expanding an existing home.

  2. Operational Programmes – assistance with costs such as rental, maintenance, or services offered at the Home.

Specific eligibility criteria apply, and a set of programme regulations are presented in the Programme Guidelines.

Dates to remember:

  • 16 May 2025: closing date for applications submission

  • July 2025: final decision on the successful applications
